Synthetic Oil Review – Prevent An Engine Meltdown

by admin on March 23, 2010

For an instant way to destroy your engine you can drain the oil out and run the engine. Without the lifeblood of your engine the motor oil, metal to metal contact and friction quickly heat things up.  In a matter of minutes you either seize your engine or throw a rod as the cylinder walls take a death grip hold of your pistons.

It is the easiest way to learn how to weld!

That’s how critical lubrication is to an engine.  Most take for granted the engineering and research put into producing an oil that will stand up to the tough environment in your engine and really provide long lasting protection.  Some of the best synthetic motor oils can promote a nice long engine life.  The question is with all the big oil companies out there trying to make a buck selling you more oil who can you trust to tell the truth.

Oil is oil right?  WRONG.  It is so complex an issue that only a battery of ASTM tests and a short yellow bus load of engineers could figure out which one was right for you.  Fortunately, this testing has been completed.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a synthetic oil review to help you avoid an engine catastrophe. Something that answered the real question “how do you select a synthetic oil?”

Have you heard of these oils:  Mobil 1 Extended Performance, Trop Artic, Shell Formula, Chevron Supreme, Kendall GT-1 High Performance, Castrol GTX, Motorcraft, Quaker State Horse Power, Pennzoil Platinum, Valvoline SynPower, AMSOIL?  I bet a wooden nickle you have heard of a least a few of these.  The good news is they have all been tested side by side by a third party lab.  And yes you can see the results by requesting a free copy of the motor oil secrets report here:  synthetic motor oil review.
